Local real estate agent, business owner (Our Social), wife and mother of two, Jessica Kulla moved to Dawson Creek from Vancouver over 10 years ago with many years of customer service experience, legal background and administrative knowledge.

She may not be born and raised in Dawson Creek but is excited and blessed to call this community her forever home.

We recently chatted with Jessica, and she shared her thoughts on why she supports the Dawson Creek and District Hospital Foundation…

Jessica Kulla puts her money where her heart is as a Hospital Foundation supporter.

Originally from Vancouver, Jessica has called Dawson Creek home for 10 years. “Since we’ve moved to Dawson, it’s become more evident that there is a great sense of community here – something that I didn’t see before living in a large city. So, I felt it’s very important to give back to where you live,” Jessica remarked.

We asked Jessica what first inspired her to start giving to the Dawson Creek and District Hospital Foundation.

“I was actually an employee of the Hospital Foundation, which shone a light on what they do for the community as a whole from the beginning of life to the end of life.” Jessica answered.  “And since then, I’ve continued to support the Foundation and what they do.”

Jessica noted that supporting the Foundation also resonates with her as the mother of 2 whose children were both born at Dawson Creek and District Hospital. “What you put into supporting the Foundation is giving back to yourself and to your fellow colleagues and residents of the community that we live in. I think that alone hits home.”

Jessica’s message for people who are thinking about giving to the Hospital Foundation is that
whether it’s the beginning, the middle, or the end of life – at some point, we all need services from OUR hospital.

And finally, we asked Jessica what hopes she has for our community. “I love the that we’re getting a new hospital which is always exciting. But I would also love to see our community back that new hospital and support it on a local level as opposed to expecting the government and all the other parties and organizations to be the lead. I think we as a community should step up and be a part of it as well.”

The Dawson Creek and District Hospital Foundation invites you to join Jessica as donors. Find out how you can support the Dawson Creek and District Hospital and Rotary Manor with a meaningful gift today.
