Thank you Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge and everywhere in between for another fantastic fundraiser!
Smiles abounded on Tuesday, May 16 as Gillian and Kyle MacDonald, owners of the Dawson Creek Tim Hortons restaurants, presented a cheque for $31,352.54 to Brette Madden and Heather Kohler of the Dawson Creek and District Hospital Foundation.
“We are so grateful to have such dedicated and generous partners in the MacDonalds in Dawson Creek,” remarked Brette Madden, Hospital Foundation Board president. “Their generosity through the Smile Cookie campaign has grown every year and helps us ensure that our Hospital and Rotary Manor receive the vital equipment they need.”
Since 2013, our local Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign has raised over $150,000 for the Dawson Creek and District Hospital Foundation in support of the Hospital and Rotary Manor. “We believe in the importance of giving back,” said Gillian MacDonald. “The Smile Cookie campaign is an excellent example of the generosity of our community coming together to fundraise.”
